We all must have read or heard about the law of conservation of energy by Einstein, which states that: the total energy of an isolated system remains constant, it is said to be conserved over time. This law means that energy can neither be created nor destroyed; rather, it can only be transformed from one form to another.
A similar statement can also be found in the Shiva Puraan which was written thousands of years before Einstein was even born. The statement says: Energy need to be transferred to other form. It can be hidden within spiritual powers or leashed in any form of the matter present in the planet. But it cannot be destroyed. That is the dharm of Energy.
This could mean that all the supernatural and paranormal phenomena present in this world do not appear suddenly or randomly. They were present here from the beginning of the time and might stay till the end of it too.
One such mystery is of the Bermuda Triangle. The Bermuda Triangle, also known as the Devil’s Triangle, is a loosely-defined region in the western part of the North Atlantic Ocean, connecting the ports of Florida, Puerto Rico and Bermuda Island. Here a number of aircraft and ships are said to have disappeared under mysterious circumstances. No trace is ever found of these vessels – however huge they might be. The map of Bermuda Triangle defined by various countries differ but one thing that commonly stuns scientists and physicists across the globe is immense grabbing power of Triangle that defies common principles of physics that we teach in schools.
The earliest suggestion of unusual disappearances in the Bermuda area appeared in a September 17, 1950, article published in The Miami Herald by Edward Van Winkle Jones. Two years later, Fate magazine published “Sea Mystery at Our Back Door”, a short article by George X. Sand covering the loss of several planes and ships, including the loss of Flight 19, a group of five US Navy Grumman TBM Avenger torpedo bombers on a training mission. Sand’s article was the first to lay out the now-familiar triangular area where the losses took place. Flight 19 alone would be covered again in the April 1962 issue of American Legion magazine. In it, author Allan W. Eckert wrote that the flight leader had been heard saying, “We are entering white water, nothing seems right. We don’t know where we are, the water is green, no white.” He also wrote that officials at the Navy board of inquiry stated that the planes “flew off to Mars.”Sand’s article was the first to suggest a supernatural element to the Flight 19 incident. In the February 1964 issue of Argosy, Vincent Gaddis’ article “The Deadly Bermuda Triangle” argued that Flight 19 and other disappearances were part of a pattern of strange events in the region. The next year, Gaddis expanded this article into a book, Invisible Horizons.
After that a series of articles, documentaries, posts and conspiracy theories from people around the world have started piling up, all trying to validate their own theory. People believe it to be a portal to another dimension or parallel universe, some say it’s a time portal, some also believe that the triangle leads to some other planets and is a gateway for extra-terrestrials to come and go from earth.
None of these theories have any proofs as there is not a single survivor to tell the tale of what happens at the depth of Devil’s triangle.
But ancient India might give a possible proof of what is inside Bermuda triangle as there are various instances of supernatural beings and entities stated in the ancient books who resemble great similarities with the traits and properties of the Bermuda triangle. Also, as stated above that since Energy cannot be formed or destroyed and can only change form, there is a possibility that these entities have been present since the ancient times and have now changed their forms or maybe they are residing deep under the sea where no one can find them. And if someone or something goes near them it is consumed by these ancient entities.
There are many stories and myths associated with the triangle – none of them claiming to be the real one.Strangely, the Ramayana also describes the story of the Devil’s triangle and relates it to the devil who tried to kill Lord Hanuman. Ramayana features the story of a Demoness Simhika who used to reside in Indian ocean and was awarded with the boon of grasping any object or being, however powerful it might be, by Lord Brahma. Due to this, no one dared to travel passing nearby her. SundarKand from Ramayan contextualizes the incident to sinking ship.
SundarKand Verses 5-1-185
“Like a great boat in the ocean with opposing winds, I am being pulled back forcefully, with disabled power.”
While Hanuman was on his mission to go to Lanka to find Sita he was flying over the vast sea. His flight suddenly stopped midair and he was unable to move at all. Later on seeing here and there, up and down, Lord Hanuman sees floating demoness pulling his shadow towards her.She tried to eat Hanuman, however Hanuman killed her by decreasing the size of his massive body and entering her mouth later destroying her internal organs
SundarKand Verses 5-1-194
“Then Hanuman rend her internal organs with His sharp nails and after that flew up with a speed equal to that of thought.”
It has been said that fearing from the act of Lord Hanuman, child(Son\Daughter) of demon Simhika ran away from the Indian ocean to some mysterious place, which apparently is the Bermuda Triangle.
Bermuda Traingle can also be described as a place where Lord Hanuman placed the Demon King Raavan’s naval mani. Ravan was very intelligent, brave and trilokvijayi (winner of all three lokas). With his dhyan, penance, austerity towards Shiv Shankar, he got several boons which added to his strength making him almost invincible. During his rise, no living god or human being could dare to fight with him. The secret to his massive strength was due to blessings of Lord Shiv. He was also gifted a gem which helped in re-generation of nectar at his navel. This made him immortal and no one could kill him. It was important that the gem must be taken back from him so that nectar from the navel could be soaked to kill him.
Lord Shiv knew that Mandodari, great wife of Ravan, was aware of the place where Ravan had hidden that mani. Mandodari was devout wife of Ravan and also devotee of Lord Shiv. Lord Shiv took appearance of a Sage and went to meet Mandodari. He blessed Mandodari, then Mandodari thought of giving dakshinato Lord Shiv. Lord Shiv in the form of Sage asked for the mani from Mandodari. No devotee of Lord Shiv could ever say no to the Sage for dakshina. Mandodari knew that secret of mani is only known to Lord Shiv, Ravan and her. She understood that Sage is no one but Lord Shiv himself. She gave the mani to Shiv Shankar as dakshina. She came to know that the Ramlila is about to end with the death of Ravan.
After this incident there was no doubt left that Ravan will be killed easily by Bhagwan Shree Ram.Lord Ram killed Ravan by firing Arrow of Brahma at the navel of demon king of Sri-Lanka, Ravan. This made Ravan lifeless and he fell down to the ground, the nectar of immortality soaked from his navel and this led to his death.
The gem was very powerful and emits huge energy, due to which everything near it was attracted towards it.After death of Ravan, it became imperative that the gem be placed in a zone that absorb its energy and uncontrollable power. The gem was so powerful that its presence could impact future generations too. Hanuman was given the task of placing the mani to the depth of the ocean bed, very deep so that its impact could be minimized and diluted. The mani was placed in the deepest core of Ocean of that time which today is known as Bermuda Triangle. The immense grabbing power of mani is the main reason which pulls down the objects flowing or floating nearby or above Bermuda Triangle zone.
The story of Ramayana ends here but the legend lives on, just like what we learnt about energy.
There is also a modern day theory of Apocalypse which might come by the hands of the Illuminati which is a group or secret society who worship demon gods as per the claims made by the conspiracy theorists. The illuminati is itself a conspiracy theory but its connection to Bermuda Triangle are quite startling.
The illuminati also has a symbol of a triangle with one eye. Many believe it represents the eye of God, watching over Humanity. But there are many believers who think that the symbol represents the one eyed Devil who resides in the Bermuda triangle thus giving it the name of Devils triangle. Although illuminati are said to bring peace and enlightenment to the world by debunking the theories of God, Religion and supernatural things. Yet some believers of Illuminati claim that their God (Devil or False God) will rise from the sea and upon his arrival there will be huge natural epidemics such as earthquakes, hurricanes, Tsunamisetc. thus cleansing the earth. These epidemics relate to the unexpected weather conditions in and around the Bermuda triangle as many scientists and explorers have reported uneven land masses beneath sea, irregular wave patterns and sudden change in wind directions etc.
If we link the theory provided by Ramayana with that of the modern day illuminati it might make one story which is related to both of them. The theory is: The child of the Demoness Simhika upon seeing his mother’s merciless death by the hands of lord Hanuman, flew away to the deepest part of the ocean in fear. This was the same deepest part of the ocean where later on Hanuman buried the powerful gem of Raavan which had mesmerizing powers. The theory suggests that Simhika’s child took the gem and harnessed its power. He is now waiting for the right moment to come out of the depths of the ocean to rule the world. The Illuminati Clan is supposed to be worshiping the same demon.
All these fact, theories, legends and pieces of history are just references and beliefs of a few people to something beyond our imagination and understanding. These statements do not tell the truth or it might all be true but until and unless we have proofs and significant evidences we cannot be sure and will have to rely on the scientific discoveries and our beliefs.
Legend tells us one thing, history another and science something else, But every now and then we find something that belongs to them all.
